No referral needed. You can book directly with us. True Roots is a private physician practice. Just schedule your first visit and we take it from there.
Your first visit is a real evaluation with Dr. Valle, not an intake. He reviews your health history, runs bloodwork where the protocol calls for it, and builds a plan around your data. The fee depends on why you are coming in: the weight loss Health Assessment is credited toward your program when you start, TRT consultations and the Performance & Longevity Health Assessment are standalone fees for the physician’s time, and every number is listed on our pricing page before you book.
It depends on the treatment. TRT patients typically notice changes in energy and mood within 2–4 weeks, with full optimization over 3–6 months. Folix hair restoration shows visible improvement after 4–6 sessions. Botox results appear within 5–7 days. NAD+ and IV therapy effects are often felt same-day. Dr. Valle sets specific expectations during your consultation based on your data and goals.
True Roots operates on a transparent self-pay model. We don’t bill insurance, which means no surprise charges, no prior authorizations, and no coverage denials. You pay only for what you actually receive.
Dr. Luis Valle is a board-certified physician specializing in functional medicine, hormone optimization, and advanced aesthetics. He’s DEA-registered. He designs and oversees the physician side of your care: hormone optimization, assessments, and the protocols that need his exam and his labs.
Medspas treat the surface. True Roots is a physician-led practice that connects what’s happening inside (hormones, nutrients, metabolic health) to how you look and feel outside. Dr. Valle directs the medical side and is here in the building. Our nurse practitioners lead laser, FoLix, IV therapy, and Botox with you in the chair. There is no distant supervising physician on a different coast.
